Arrest made Boston bombing

Fox news just broadcast that an arrest has been made in the Boston bombing.  No details yet.  News conference to follow.

Now they are saying NO.

Still is to be a news conference some time.

I would be suspicious of any arrest this soon .
They arrested Richard Jewell right after the Atlanta Olympic bombing too.
It took over 10 years to get the guy who actually did it.
It took them 20 years to track down the UnaBomber.
The only way they got the 1st Trade Center bomber was because the dumbass went back for his deposit on the truck, and then he made it to Pakistan and hid out for a while.

Agreed. BUT, and I say this after only having been in Boston once, I doubt the finish line was in some back alley. It must have been lit up like a christmas tree with security cameras. And I'm sure Boston PD has been asking everyone who was there during or before the bombing with cell phone or cam corder footage to come foward and hand it over. And I'll bet most did, I would. I'd not be surprised if they found a photo since they know the locations to look at.

Just like many of the "news" companies, I jumped the gun a bit.  Sorry.

I am curious as to what will be said in the news conference.

My gut feeling is that they at least have somebody's face, and a digital trail they were able to follow back.
I also suspect that they are an amature, got information and instructions off the net, and perhaps made there own explosives, probably a black powder type.

It was on Boyleston street, near the statehouse.
The largest single collection of criminals in Mass.
They already had video of him, but it was his back, they were looking to see if they could find a store or something that caught him face on.
A hat pulled low would be enough to escape that though.
