Evidently these two animals are relatively recent immigrants from Chechnya, are likely Sunni/Wahabist Muslims.   They, or their parents, were allowed entry to USA as "war refugees".

Questions:

Who "radicalized" and/or trained these two?

Where were they radicalized/trained?

Who funded and/or supplied them with weapons and explosives?

Were these two terrorists given "comprehensive background checks" if they purchased their own firearms?  If they were, why didn't "Chechnya"  and "resident alien"  raise alarm flags with the FBI/DHS?

Why are people from radicalized Islamic countries allowed to reside in the USA in the first place?

The entire city of Boston is in "lockdown" with hordes of militarized police patrolling the streets, a scene common to nations that border Islamic nations or have large Islamic populations within their borders.   Citizens are trapped in their houses while a "heavily armed" terrorist is loose in their town.

Choices:

Cower in your own home and hope like hell  the M4/Tactical-Shotgun-toting police can protect you.

Arm yourself with your own AR15/Tactical Shotgun and at least be assured you and your family will have a fighting chance if the terrorist attempts entry to your home.

Lots of questions which,  if "Suspect Number Two" is killed, may not be answered.

I heard on MSNBC(D) this AM that they may have been in the US for up to ten years.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

...

The suspect on the lam is Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass., a registered student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He and his brother's family is originally from Chechnya, a volatile and once war-torn southern Russian republic. The family fled to Kyrgyzstan and eventually immigrated to the United States as refugees about 10 years ago.

...

The suspects' uncle told the local CBS News station that the pair had lived in the country since 2002.

...

The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed law enforcement sources, said that one or both of the brothers traveled back to the Caucasus region of Russia for a year or more before returning to America again.

I have this sick feeling in my stomach that fellow student/friend is hiding him. Multiple teenagers have reportedly told police there is no way he would have done this. He had to be forced by someone.
Did we win???

Tim- Just an observation (and I know this is an extreme situation) but its as my dad always told me don't pay your taxes and find out who really owns your property.

I would allow officers into my house though in this situation if I was asked. If the barged in I would be angry but could maybe understand after a while of thought and calming down. I'd much rather have a trained swat officer search my crawl space and attic if they are accessible from the outside than myself.

Which actually may be something we talk about on here. Many of us have crawl spaces and attics in garages and/or access under under our houses from the outside.  Something seriously consider securing in some way. Many people just ah e boards or chicken wire covering them. I used to work for a heating and AC company and spent alot of time in those areas.

Ksail,

My point was more to the sweeping powers of the Patriot Act.  Pretty scary to think that the .gov, local and SP can shut down the greater Boston area of 4.25 million people with the stroke of a pen!  This is happening just down the road from me, BTW!

I too, under the circumstances, would be willing to allow a search of the property if I felt it warranted but it's still a bit of a sticky situation to think I might be arrested if I chose to exercise my rights!

If they barged (Armed people knocking down a door would be poor operating procedure in a free(armed) society) in I would be angry but could maybe understand after a while of thought and calming down. In my experience most crawl spaces out west are only accessible from the interior.  We have a trap door in a closet in our house and the same in the house I grew up in (other places I lived were slab foundations).
