Really? Who brings a gun to a stoner fest???? You bring munchies and soda, not a gun.

Oh thats right, BG's don't give a flip.

Shooting at Denver Pot Festival
Posted on April 20, 2013 by Robert Farago

“Gunfire erupted at a Denver pot celebration Saturday, injuring two people and scattering a crowd of thousands at a downtown park after they had just marked the first 4/20 counterculture holiday since the state legalized marijuana,” cbsnews.com reports. “The man and woman who were shot were expected to survive, and police were looking for one or two suspects, said Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson. Witnesses described a scene in which a jovial atmosphere quickly turned to one of panic just before 5 p.m. Several thought firecrackers were being set off, then a man fell bleeding, his dog also shot . . .

Ian Bay, who was skateboarding through Civic Center Park when shots erupted, said he was listening to music on his headphones when he looked to his right and saw a swarm of hundreds of people running at him. ‘I sort of panicked. I thought I was going through an anxiety thing because so many people were coming after me,’ he said.

Understandable, on lots of levels.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

So much for pot being a non violent drug.

Still blaming the object instead of the A hole ?

Wouldn't have happened if those bas*ards hadn't been hogging the munchies.

Just saw some video on this.  I feel sorry for the folks that got shot, but man, that was one funny video.

Image a sea of stoned, white, college kids trying to actually put one foot in front of the other and navigate around the other stoners.  A slow-motion train wreck to be sure.

Hahaha good point. Let me correct myself then, I thought marijuana wasn't a mind altering drug that would help cause someone to become violent?

It isn't.
However two rival gangs occupying the same space and wanting to kill each other will cause violence...because they're A-holes.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.
