Just wondering if any of you gun nuts have gotten any trigger time with Marlin's new bolt action XL7, and if you have any opinions on it and how it shoots???
To me, it looks like a copy-cat of the Remington 700 ADL, but in the $300 price range - and since Remington acquired Marlin Firearms back in 2007, it might just be:

That looks like a Savage accu trigger and it uses a barrel nut ala Savage, which is not a bad thing.
