Saw a History Channel (consider the source) show that told of a pair of British(?) snipers that were sent in to pop AH at the Eagles Nest.
Command called them off because he was more dangerous to Germany and helpful to the Allies while still alive.

Probably true. But damn it killed a lot of soldiers on both sides. If the German military had strapped its balls on and staged a coup, they could have ended the war earlier and kept the Sovs from occupying the East. "Unconditional surrender" my ass. That was Stalin's gambit to force a march on Berlin. Had the Germans said "Look, we'll lay down our arms tomorrow", do you think FDR or Churchill would have said no? Stalin would have opposed it, but only Churchill was onto his game. FDR was clueless.

Darn dude, you're not very well informed .
The German's ( Himmler ) was in direct talks with the OSS through Allen Dulles in Switzerland, FDR turned them down cold.

Coke and Morphine? Seems it was methamphetamine.

From 1942 until his death in 1945, Adolf Hitler was given intravenous injections of methamphetamine by his personal physician Theodor Morell. It is possible that it was used to treat Hitler's speculated Parkinson's disease, or that his Parkinson-like symptoms that developed from 1940 onwards resulted from using methamphetamine
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methamphetamine

And:

Morell was a dipstick of the highest order. Maybe he should have tripled the dosage but having Uncle Adolph still in charge was very helpful in defeating the Third Reich.

Meth was the one specified in Wiki , but other sources, including "Inside the 3rd Reich" talk about cocaine and Morphine as well.

I was wondering where that was from. Been way too many years since I read that one - might be time to give it another read.

I wonder when Bwhore was doing coke if he told his friends, "Hey, we're gonna party like Hitler!"

A few points,
First, Hitler didn't "party",(that was Goering) he didn't know what the hell his Dr was giving him, only that it made him feel better.
Second, Hitler, like Sherlock Holmes, got it through injections, (the 7% solution ) while in BO's day the usual method was snorting it.
Hitler was actually a health and fitness nut, not quite as bad Teddy R. but he never smoked, very seldom he would have a beer or glass of wine, and he ate very little meat .
He wasn't quite a vegetarian, but very close .

The Dr. "taking care" of Michael Jackson, right up until the end,....comes to mind....

So does Pink Floyd.

"They'll be no more ahhhhhhhhhh,,,,,but you might feel a little sick".....

"Can you stand up"?

"This will get you goin' for the show,....C'mon it's time to go"....

Bush drank, BHO smoked and snorted, Clinton liked cigars and interns,,.....BFD.....has nothing to do with the current political SNAFU going on.

Or wait, our standards keep lowering....and it keeps turning out so well.

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

And see what that leads to.
