TAB isn't looking at it from a legal point of view, but rather from a personal point of view.

He entered private property and disregarded the legitimate wishes of the owner.

He looks at it like someone coming into your house, knowing you have certain restrictions, be them related to firearms, smoking or missing the toilet when you take a whiz or any other particular.

TAB is saying to go into that house, deliberately and willingly violating the wishes of the owner shows disrespect, in TAB's veiw, unpardonable disrespect.

Where he goes wrong is wanting the penalty for that disrespect to be the losing of a right protected by the 2A.

its like that in texas.  Not many say texas is not gun friendly.   as a small biz owner, I spend more time at work then I do at home.   it might as well be my home, i have invested lots of blood sweat and tears in it.

The difference is that while Disney is private property, it is a business where we are invitees to spend money there.  As invitees we have certain rights and expectations that are to be met by the invitor.  In this case it is the law, and not personalities that count.

THey also have the right to kick you out.   texas got it right with thier 3006 law.

No one knew he was carrying , the only real fact is that his pistol was found there.
Maybe aliens moved it.
Unlikely, but I challenge you to prove they did not do it.
Maybe it's Bush's fault ?

Once again tab has it wrong. Even with the 30.06 sign you gave to be asked to leave and refuse before you break the law. That is on private property that is not a bar.

You are quoting Texas law.  The event happened in Florida.

Outside of having spent far too much time in California, why are you so pressed on wanting government and business to be able to deny us our rights?

What about the rights of the business owners?   you don't have to go to thier place of business if you choose not to.    if you read the post above mine you would see why I said what i did about the 3006 law.

As a business owner you lose many of your selective rights when you advertise for people to attend you business.  This part of statute and case law is a large part of business law in funeral service.  It is common for families to wish to exclude and estranged family member, bad neighbor, bar buddy, or employer from a service.  Once a business puts notice out publicly of the openness of the event to the public no restrictions beyond the law can be applied.  This is where a no guns sign comes into play.  As long as the carrier follows the law they can carry.
