The .45 would be very cool.

The .45 is a man's gun.

The AR is simply an underpowered weapon suitable for varmints.

Every American should own an AR with at least a dozen mags and the ammo to load them. We are after all the militia. The suppressed .45 is a toy. As a compromise, get one of your existing .45s threaded and then buy a can, AND an AR.

all I have is 1911  which take some work to get to function.  I want something like the usp which was designed to take on.   a good ar is not cheap.

I would love to have a suppressed .45 like a Mark 23 or similar.

I love my 45s (yes I have two now, my wife and daughter got me an XDS for Daddy day  ;D ) but I'd go for the kick ass AR because I don't have one-yet.

I am partial to JP and Larue-both meet the kick ass criteria.

A suppressed USP would make an excellent HD option, IMO.
