I went to Bass pro's site to check out what kind of sales they were having. They have Remington plain Jane .22 at $4 per fifty and $28 per 500. Six months ago I'd laughed at those prices but today it seems like a steal, at least compared to the thirty cents a round Gander wants for the few types they have. If you want higher end stuff they seem to have a good selection, but you'll pay for it. The best part is that during their sale they'll ship any order for around six bucks, so buy a case. Tell them the quaker sent you, maybe I'll get a free box.
