It does my heart good!

As I type this, I am sitting on the risers at the Daisy National BB Gun Championships in Rogers, AR. I get to watch and help my son and 6 other youth from our county who qualified for the BB Gun Nationals for the first time. Makes me very proud of our kids! What makes me even prouder is the amazing turnout of kids competing in this match. 56 teams from around the nation! It is so very awesome to see all of these kids, as well as their families, participating in the shooting sports.

All these kids shooting, and shooting safely and effectively. Just great to see! If you folks have a 4H Shooting sports program in your area, please support them and/or any youth shooting sports programs they have. They are the future of shooting in the USA!

I've got a feeling the young ladies will make a big difference in the future of shooting...and I believe I see two in this picture.

For several decades, girls and women have gotten more into competition and achievement in areas traditionally male.
