I see the problem. You got it backwards. It's a 22/45. Unless of course this is a brand new model.

In seriousness, it's taken me a while to remember to go down and pull mine out of the safe. Fairly recent model and it has a great trigger. A medium length very soft take-up then a fairly crisp and sudden let-off with almost no creep. I'm wondering if just a little more polishing at the factory was all that was missing.
I'd either wait for one with a better trigger or see if the store smith would take a look at if for free and maybe just touch up the surfaces a bit, before you buy it.
