Been wanting one for awhile, a 4 5/8 inch stainless Blackhawk in .357.  Sorry for the crappy pic.

As a fan of "Leroy Brown" I need to point out it's spelled C-R-O-C-E, no "H" .

I love Jim Croce as well, but I'm partial to Big Jim. I think I'm sensing a theme. Maybe they ought to make these two mandatory for SD classes? ;D

Am a Blackhawk fan.  The first gun I owned was a Blackhawk .357/38 special.

Jim Croce fan too.  The man wrote his own epithet in this song.

My first center fire pistol was a 7 5/8ths .357 Blackhawk  $150 in 1980.

Same model for me.  I was maybe 7 years ahead of you.

Got a late start enjoying firearms.  Didn't know how much I enjoyed them till I got a job that payed me to shoot them.  Ammo was free too.

I'm a big fan of the Ruger line.  My own favorite weapon is a Redhawk in .44 mag, but a .357 Blackhawk would be a formidable second choice.  I like the fact that it seems to be rendered in stainless--an  excellent choice should you ever want to spend time in the swamp that is Florida.

Nice piece, my friend.
