The "South" is steadily gaining more and more firearms manufacturers. Whether leaving unfriendly states, or finding a more friendly pro-gun business environment without a union requirement is a good thing.

I guess Penn. counts as Kahr Arms is out if NY...

Actually TW, Kahr is out of Worcester, MA.  Only the beancounters live in NY!

Kahr's corporate headquarters are located in Blauvelt, New York. Production and assembly operations are located in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the region commonly known as "Gun Valley."

But corporate is where the money is....

The trouble, at least for New York State: The gun manufacturer, currently based in Rockland County, is expanding across the border in Pennsylvania, and in the process will be moving its headquarters out of the Empire State. The reason, according to a corporate official, can be found in the swift passage last January of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s SAFE gun control law.

Like Remington, corporate is in NC....

Leaving NY, is a big blow....whether corporate or not.

They brought it on themselves.

Agreed...

My son in law happened to run into a Kahr employee sometime in the last few weeks.  They struck up a conversation while they were waiting in line and the guy said that Kahr may be pulling out of MA as well!  These asshats up here have been going full tilt boogie to enact some draconian laws here too!

I wonder how S&W will handle it considering they've caved to MA and CA before!

Hate to have to make the observation but NC is alot more wobbly than one might assume..
The "Golden Triangle" holds sway over the politics of that state, (like Atlanta used to in Georgia till about 15 or 20 years ago).
I wouldn't trust trust them, in their position. Wasn't their Governor the one who said we should take the pressure off of our elected Reps by suspending elections? Home of John Edwards?..
With friends like these, who needs hallucinations!..
