Stand Your Ground, The Castle Doctrine, and all other like them were not a part of the prosecution or defense in the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman event.  However, the anti-Constitution crowd had decided this was a tragedy that could not be wasted.  They are treating us like illiterate and ignorant fools, and we are falling for it.  Do not let them use an unrelated event to change law!  If they are not smart enough to change their game plan in the wake of an event, we must be intelligent enough to make hay on their mistake.

As far as Stevie, I put him right along with many other leftist mouth pieces from the entertainment industry:  I don't give a damn!  If he chooses to stop increasing his wealth in our communities and live off his saved millions, so be it.

Well, it does have a silver lining.  

Since I live in a "Stand your Ground, Castle Doctrine" state, I don't have to remember to never go see him.  ;D

I wonder if he can also stop his album and other product sales in the state also?   

Or maybe he's not THAT committed to strong beliefs.

Stevie doesn't have to worry about self-defense, he has security personnel/drivers/law enforcement for that.  Good thing too, he'd never see it coming  ;D

The Zimmerman trial was not about GZ shooting a thug who punched him in the face, it was entirely about undermining self defense laws.

Of course.

I see the protest groups  "Justice for Travon" demanding repeal of "Stand Your Ground" laws.

It would make just as much sense for them to demand a lower blood/alcohol level to legally drive.

I KNOW alcohol was not involved in the shooting, but neither was the "Stand Your Ground" law.
