Nope, that's as far as I ever get.. I just can't stand O'Reilly, no matter what he says..
I understand your position.
Once talking to a sex crimes detective I knew, I happened to mention a story I saw on O'Reilly. He said,
"You have to be real careful watching that guy."The two cases he told me about were child cases prosecuted by Maricopa County.
Number one was a young guy (but over 18) who had sex with an underage girl (15/16) and got IIRC, probation.
Number two was caught with "kiddie porn" and got sentenced to years in prison.
O'Reilly went full 'news-tainment' asking "What the heck is going on down there in Maricopa County? One guy has sex with a minor and gets a slap on the wrist and the other guy only has pictures and gets prison time!"
The real story....#1 - The 15/16 yr old girl jumped on anything stiff that sat still for long enough for her to get her knickers down. She was an accomplished slut of several years experience and that guy just happened to be the one who got caught. Did he deserve prosecution? YES. Someone has to be the adult and that guy was an epic fail.
#2 - This guy had taken pictures of HIM screwing little kids. Like
REAL little kids that were toddlers. The problem was that the guy was smart enough to crop the photos so he never had a pic of the kids face.
No victim to ID - no complainant.
Even though he "only had pictures" the court saw that this was indeed a severely twisted f*ckwad of the 1st order and gave him prison time.
To make a long story long, the "Talking Points" he did on the 22nd were as billt put it,
hit out of the park. They were very well done.
He addressed the race issue with the inconvenient facts that the only ones "holding down" poor blacks were themselves, their parent(s), the race baiters and the failed politicians. (on both sides of the aisle)
Throwing money at the problem using failed policies and programs ain't gonna get it done. We've all seen that movie before.
Sorry for the long rant.
