Has he read the Constitution?
« on: August 05, 2013, 08:37:10 PM »
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”  H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun,  July 26, 1920.

Saw this on the news today....wife was reading and looked up when this asshat was speaking.
Halfway through the diatribe she said, "Oh f*ck you!"

There's a reason I love this woman.

From the link:
Nancy Pelosi, one of the darlings of the Left on Capitol Hill, said openly that she believes that the "necessary and proper" clause grants Congress unbounded power to legislate on any subject, and to any effect, whatsoever.

Who could argue with a Constitutional scholar like Nancy Botox?  ::)
May she die from green pus crotch rot.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

A lot of people don't care about the Constitution.    They are self-appointed do-gooders who believe that the end justifies the means.    Islam is very much into that philosophy.  An Muslim can violate any tenant of the Qumran if it is to promote, defend and advance Islam in the name of Allah.  But you don't need to be Muslim to be a busybody.

Here's Dr. Sowell's recent article on the subject.

And he also wrote a 4 part series on the The Mindset of the Left.  Here is a link to the first in the series.

If you haven't read his book, "The Vision of the Annointed", make a point to do so.

Bravery and stupidity are often synonymous.  So are cowardice and intelligence.

"We Americans have been a rebellious band of freedom loving vagabonds from the very beginning. Our freedom from the crown and tyranny would not exist had it not been for the gun. That's a tradition we like to hold on to.  The same can't be said for the rest of you 'Subjects of the Queen'."--said to a Canadian friend who just doesn't get it.

Honestly, that statement by a member of congress should be grounds for conviction of treason.

Her "we have to pass the bill to see what's in it" is supporting evidence and would be grounds for a larceny conviction if she were selling an insurance policy.

I'm sure someone else has started a thread about this,

Our POTUS doesn't even know the difference between the "Gulf" and the Atlantic ocean, much less the constitution.

Basically on the Tonight Show this week he told Leno that we need to deepen the Gulf ports to accommodate the larger ships that will be coming through the renovated Panama Canal.  Especially in ports like, Charleston, Savannah and Jacksonville.

Heck if you don't know basic geography it's a cinch you don't know beans about the Constitution.

It is not surprising that Obama doesn't know much about USA geography.  Few people have a working knowledge of the geography of a country not their own.
