Syria
« on: September 04, 2013, 09:23:43 PM »
Thought for sure someone would have posted something regarding this. So I took the liberty to do so, just want to get a feel to see where members stand on this and possibly why?
I for one am against sending anything over there ie: soldiers, weapons, minuteman missiles or using U.S. Aircraft to bomb. We have nothing to gain. If Obama wants to send a message, send a telegram.
“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people.  On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron.”  H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun,  July 26, 1920.

Let them burn each other down.
If it wasn't important enough to deal with yesterday, don't bother me with it today. (I wouldn't have been OK with it yesterday either)

The more each side kills of the other now, is less we (as a nation) will have to kill later.  Let the ragheads kill each other till no one's left.  If any of 'em start any shit with Israel, we bomb what's left after Israel's done back into the stone age.  Shouldn't take much.
“It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood.”

I like that Steven Colbert quote, something to the effect that, " Now we have to invade Syria because they're killing with chemical weapons. We don't care if they kill each other by shooting each other. If we cared about that, we'd invade Chicago."

Oh... I vote "No".  We have spent ourselves broke trying to regulate, control, what-have-you with these people, and spent too many young lives. Let them sort it out and we'll just TAKE the oil.

I'm undecided, couldn't decide between "NO" and "F*CK NO" .
We got no dog in the fight, one side is an anti American Dictator, the other side is anti American Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.
Of course BO continues showing his true colors by supporting the Jihadi terrorists .

PUTIN GREETS OBAMA WITH SYRIA THREAT - President Obama arrived in Russia today to find the already failing relations with his host in even worse condition. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threat to provide his Syrian allies with a missile shield in the event of U.S. airstrikes further complicates Obama’s flagging effort to win international support for an attack on Damascus. As the Guardian reports, Putin’s warning that an attack without UN backing would provoke military aid from Russia may drive away the handful of international partners for Obama’s proposed attack.

The same lying bastards that told us Bengazi was caused by a video are now telling us that they have the TRUTH! on the Syrian govt using Sarin gas.

Now Bwhore and Hitlery, do you understand "what difference, at this point, does it make?"
When you lie, it makes you a turd who can't be trusted, regardless of subject matter. That's what difference it makes!!

Now Assad has agreed to "give up" his chemical arsenal. Translated, He going to give them to Putin to hold for him until the international weapons inspectors leave. Then Putin will give them all back. Kind of like when you're getting a divorce and you give your buddy your guns and boat until she's history. Then he brings everything back, and you throw a big party. Obama is as dumb as a box of rocks.
