I went to pick it up yesterday. Had it delivered to my gunsmith..
That was on the way to taking her out to eat, of course.. She laughs at me because I can't go in there for "a minute". 15 minutes worth of visit takes me an hour
if I'm hurrying.. I suppose if it's any consolation, I didn't bring it home with me. I left it there for a Ghost Connector and general "slicking up" of the mechanism..

A note on the transfer..
The lady at NICS asked a question that wasn't on the form.. She wanted to know "what kind of purchase" it was..
My guy there is real quick to get really crabby if something happens that he doesn't like.. (Part of why I like him. It makes me laugh..)
He told her that the question wasn't on the form and asked her what she meant. She repeated the question. He asked where that came from and she said that "it's required information now". (BS..) He told her that he didn't know what she meant again and made her give examples. She said "is it a police purchase, a private sale", etc. He told her it was a transfer and she continued on with the check..
** Just a word of warning.. It sounds like the NICS system is next on the list of "making it up as you go along" rules..

PS.. I've got the fever and I'm not planning on stopping till I get one more.
I'm looking for a Sig 226 Elite
SAO. If anybody has one they want to turn loose of or can give me a price on a new one that's lower than $880, let me know..
