NCIS... new season begins

Well, it finally got here.  The first episode of the new NCIS season.

SPOILER ALERT - if you didn't see the episode tonight then you may not want to read any further.






What a show, huh?  Explosion that kills the SecNav... the investigator wanting to crucify Gibbs turns out to be a good guy... assassination attempts on the whole team... Ziva in Israel somewhere but we don't know where... and commercial sponsorship of terrorism just to increase profits.  What did I leave out?  I just can't believe Ziva is leaving.  Have you seen anything about who will take her place on the team?

I hate that Ziva is leaving, and Kono on Hawaii  5 O. My fantasy life has been depleted. I want Ziva back!

I love the show..
I've watched it since the first episode when it spun off of "J.A.G.", (starring Gibbs' attorney from the end of last season, among others), and to me, the ones where they're getting rid of a character are just the worst..
My wife just rolls her eyes because I say "Happy Ducky Day!!" the first thing every Tuesday morning..
What I want to know is why Ducky has a bed pan?! (Weapon of choice in Autopsy?) Except for Ari and that one Marine, his patients don't generally need one...

I saw an article on huffpo a few days ago that said she had signed a new contract for 2 years and would get $120,000 per show.

I've never seen the show. JAG either. There are too many shows on too watch all of them and those two never got my interest.

Tony wanted to know how Adam could be so sure that Ziva was there. "Because she told us," Adam said pointing to Ziva's Star of David necklace. She'd left it hanging from a picture frame on the mantle. The investigation continues next week, but will Ziva die in her final episode?

CarterMatt noted that at least we know Ziva's alive ... for now. Over at Entertainment Weekly, Sandra Gonzalez said that the premiere "laid the groundwork for the much touted Farewell to Ziva, and while the necessary story set-up resulted in less in-person appearances from Ziva (none, to be exact), it’s easy to see why it needed to be done.”

Director Shepherd went out well and she was a pussycat compared to Ziva .
Can any one remember an episode she was in where no one got kicked in the nuts ?
