This is good for a laugh.
I'm getting back into fly tying and needed some more materials. So, I've bought a little of this and a little of that. I was on ebay (yeah, I know, again) and I found this huge lot of fur and feathers, 300 items. It was a pig in a poke as the guy who was selling it just bought it at an estate sale and was clueless. I bid $70 bucks and won. Today I got this huge freaking box. I swear I could start my own museum of natural history

.
I have nine full fox tails; red, grey, silver and arctic, antelope hair, deer hair, caribou hair, mole hair, chinchilla hair. Muskrat, beaver, skunk, squirrel and bunny. There's even, I shat you not, Aussie possum hair. More eyes than you can shake a stick at, deer tails, mink tails, weasel tails, deer tails, feathers from birds I've never heard of. Hooks, yarn, synthetics, thread, beads, it goes on and on. I could tie a fly shops worth and not be half way through it. I probably scored over 1500 bucks worth of stuff, but I don't know what to do with half of it. I'm thinking maybe a hat with the fox tails.

Lord, its just too funny. Anyway, I am set with tying materials for the freaking duration and then some. Sometimes ebay is your friend. Heck, just for the giggle factor when I pulled out the skunk and Australian possum hair made it worth the money. I was ROFL.
