Gun FAIL Video Montage

Some of these I have seen, some I had not.

All show the danger of idiots with guns more than the humor that was probably intended........ I hope the guy at around the 4:50 minute mark lived to regret his carelessness.

I've been hit in the face with the scope before.  Thankfully wasn't nearly as dramatic as any of these and now one was around to film it.

Me too, TAB.

Some of those shooters looked pretty new to shooting...and getting hit in the face with the gun or knocked on your butt with a bruised shoulder isn't going to create a positive first impression.

Also, time after time I see a newbie to auto or semi-auto weapons accidentally shoot off half a magazine as the recoil pushes them back..

Even with a Mark II, when I am teaching a new shooter, they shoot with one round in the magazine until I know they are used to it and are practicing safe gun  handling....

yep, always start them of with one round, then 2.  Etc etc.    personally giving some one a gun they can't handle( unless they really really ask for it)  too shot is always a bad deal.     ps, in college a guy I know kept putting 2 fingers on twin trigger shot guns, he was warned about it dozens of times.  One day he ask if he could shoot my 10 ga sxs with two triggers.   i warned him, but knew he was going to be hurting.  It broke his coller bone.  I felt awful, i figured it would just hurt like a sob and leave a multicolored bruise.

I didn't mind seeing the ragheads vaporize or the kid with the Browning demonstrate the folly of giving a little kid a loaded gun, but I didn't see any funny in this..

I will pass, just like the guys i know that bought  magum ultra light rifles or the smart guy that bought a12 ga 3.5" mag trapper( hurts just thinking about it)
