Sounds like summer here!

Well, its official. Summer 08 is here. About a mile or so East from my house is an island off the ICW (Intercoastal Waterway), and a large island called Masonboro. Everyone goes there and parties on the beach and lights off fireworks, AND shoots guns.

Its amazing as I get older being able to differentiate a Black Cat, or M-80 from a 9mm or .357.  Although someone has a larger caliber for sure.

Been going on since twilight and darkness has increased the frequency.

The shooting doesn't bother me so much,,, its the jerk that has been drinking since 11:00 A.M. today, that has the gun! :o

Going to our local outdoor range tomorrow early, when those,( hopefully no one had an accident that will make the 6:00 news.)

people will be sleeping it off. :P

I didn't realize you live in Wilmington twyacht, my family almost moved there we even had land at one time but sold it when plans had to change. When my dad was stationed in Camp Lejuene (I can never spell it right) we would go there all the time.

Anyway have a good Memorial Day everyone!
