Glock question, please..

Picked up a G-30 (Gen 3). It pops the brass exactly behind my glasses and down my T-shirt.
Is there a known/practical fix to deflect the brass a few degrees that doesn't screw up the gun?

yeah, hold it gangsta style.( or correctly)     does it do it with diffrent ammos or just one?   some times that happens with 1 ammo, has to do with the pesure curve of thier powder/ load.   if not there are a whole bunch of tweaks you can do.

Kevin and I were video taped with a high speed camera, and one thing I noticed was with identical guns, identical ammo (from the same case) and the same shooting stance and style, Kevin's brass went straight up and landed on the brim of his hat.  Mine went to my right landing about 2ft away.  I'm guessing just minor differences in extractor spring and in the ejector can cause a radical change in trajectory.

I'm betting any qualified Glock armorer could make a quick adjustment.  A search on the Glock forum might bring up some remedies.

The info at the beginning of this video might help, it is a 9mm, but is a Gen 3 gun that is having erratic extraction issues and the guy explains what he had to do to try and fix it.

As Alf pointed out, a Glock armorer should be able to fix it.

 Glock has several armorers at each of their outdoor matches.  They will go over and fix anything wrong with your gun for free.  I don't think they actually check your GSSF status or match entry.  So if there's one coming up near you...

We were both trying to put into practice, grip, stance and trigger lessons from Gabe.  I didn't see any differences.  I do, when I think about it, try to roll my support wrist forward.  But for these sequences we were actually just trying to fire as fast as possible.  The competition became who could have the most brass in the video shot.  I think Kevin managed 3 and Gabe 4.  They were closeup shots, and the brass would disappear above the frame then fall back down into it, so timing was as important as raw speed.  Also, I typically only fired 4 rounds, Kevin 6 and Gabe about 8.
