Sig 227
« on: November 06, 2013, 12:09:06 PM »
I got to fondle one of these at work a few weeks back. Seems like a real, real nice .45! Ten rounds, and it doesn't feel any bigger than the 220!

Sounds like Sig has a winner in this one!  Thanks for the link.

on edit: IMHO, the only thing that would make the P220 better would be more rounds in the mag.
You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

how is that grip?  Looks awfully rough.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

It feels better than it looks.  Of course, I haven't actually got to shoot one, just fondle it, but it felt really good.

i would really like to know, also if they make one with a threaded barrel   :)   i have always been a fan of sigs.  The 220 and the 226 line is about the best fighting pistol you can have imo.   i love 1911s, but if i was in the sand box i'd want a sig.

shoot one first... most Sigs I've shot (haven't shot a 227) have a lot of muzzle flip due to the relative high bore axis compared to where you can grip the pistol...
