That is likely true, but the percentage of Blacks in the US is estimated at 13 in 2012.
Don't know what percentage of registered voters are black or what percentage of them voted in those elections or the percentage of the votes cast that were black, but 10% of the popular vote being black seems a reasonable number.
While Blacks votes overwhelmingly for Obama, it was not the Blacks who elected him.

In 2008, it was "one-time only" and "first-timer" white voters who wanted to "be a part of history"......without giving due thought and evaluation (if they were capable) to the qualifications for the job, or the consequences of their actions.
