Great show with a  great perspective on "reasonable discourse".  Dick is just that.

On the Burris scope, reconnoiter the MTAC Burris illuminated as well as the XTR.  I just ran an MTAC through Larry Vicker's carbine course in 1.5x6.  It's illuminated with a pretty fair donut in it plus a BDC...available in 7.62.  Mine is in 5.56 and ran great.... it made the 300 yard shots very easy.  The big red dot worked well in close too.

A 1.0 power and a bit smaller outer donut (ring is a bit thick) may be better for close in work...but it's a good tradeoff for a DMR at an affordable price for those of us who aren't industry gurus.
