Yeah  :D

I remember we separated into the front and rear halves and nailed them to about a 2ft length of 2x4 with the heel stop extending out the rear and the toe clamps out the front and used the assembly as skate boards.  

Twice as many of us could risk sever injury using a pair of skates.  

We extended our risk potential to astronomical levels by never having heard that wearing a helmet would keep you from an early grave.
