Yep...... in, of all places, a parking lot.
I'm one of those people who notices things...... I mean nit-picky little things that usually go un-noticed by most others.
So.....
While preparing to get in my truck, in a large public parking lot, (in a fairly good-sized city; around 80k in area population), I look down there lay a SWC lead bullet.
The diameter is .430" so that would be a .44 caliber.
As you can see from the photo, it is pretty chewed up surface-wise, but not in bad shape.
It wasn't there when I got out and went in...... I always look down to check for heaven-knows-what-may-be-there.
My theory on how it may have got there is that it was maybe part of a key-chain or such. I had a .45 ACP cartridge on a key-ring once and lost the HP bullet out of it......so I know that is a feasible possibility.
Maybe it fell out from the floor of a reloader's vehicle.
Heck, who knows.
