Anyone remember what else Michael Pflueger has said, besides his kooky ranting about Hillary in Obama's recently former church?

In another demonstration at Chuck’s Gun Shop, owned by John Riggio, Rev. Pfleger told the crowd: "We’re going to find you and snuff you out....Like a rat you’re going to hide. But like a rat, we’re going to catch you and pull you out....We’re going to snuff out John Riggio." Rev. Pfleger also promised: "We’re going to snuff out legislators that are voting against our gun laws. We’re coming for you because we’re not going to sit idly."

Rev. Pfleger later denied that his words had been meant to invoke violence, or that he had known that "snuff out" means to "kill." Rather, the determination to "snuff out" Riggio was a determination to find out his home address, which was not publicly available.

Being from the Chicago area, I have seen Pfleger before, and he is and has been a complete whack job for a long, long time. Poor boy, born white and in his heart of hearts, he just knows he should have been a poor, impoverished, downtrodden, oppressed black man. So he just pretends he is.

Personally, I think he needs a good shrink.

The Cardinal running Chicago needs to fire or defrock Pflueger as Hazcat said.  He lets his ego take over and calls it the Lord's work.  Of the many whacky things he says, he embraces "Black Liberation Theology" which is something that Pope John Paul said was not Christian. 

Obama is Pflueger's pimp and mackdaddy.  Barack Obama in his tenure in the state legislature had earmarked $200,000 to Pflueger's church.

To paraphrase Henry II: "who will rid Obama of these meddlesome priests?"

 

He's trying to distance himself further now, but it remains a testament to Obama's mindset and character that for nearly 20 years he found the comments and rantings of Pflueger and Wright not so "appalling" that it prevented his being baptised there along with his family.

Amazing how he only had the rose-colored glasses lifted once he hit the national campaign trail, isn't it? I've heard of having revelations about life and politics and such in church, but it's a new one on me for a man to get his revelations about church while on the political stump!

It's a rock-solid indicator of where his sense of self and his perception of the world springs from, and a dead giveaway of what the man really believes when he is not giving airy speeches to drooling throngs of acolytes. I'd love to be a fly on the wall and hear what he really thinks when it's just him and Michelle talking.

It reinforces what the candid "Bitter" comments showed us; this guy is a real wacko, but so polished to be truly dangerous - even palatable and desirable to a large number of people across the country - unlike his good reverends.

A handful of people I know including my mom swear he is the anti-christ!  Well spoken, from Muslim decent ...
When she asked me what I think, I had to tell her that what first came to my mind to describe him was another "A" word.

My favorite was B-HO stating that he doesn't plan to denounce his former church, becuase "THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG TO DENOUNCE."  If they haven't done anything wrong, they why leave?
