I'm very impressed with the Glock 42: It's the easiest-shooting pocket pistol I've shot, and I've shot most of them. I put two mags through the new XD-S 4.0 9mm right before I shot the Glock 42, and the difference between a "normal" pocket 9mm and the .380 Glock is striking.

Shot the Tracking Point .300 Mag rifle, and pinged a 3' piece of steel at 960 yards on my first shot. Whatever you've heard about this gun is true. If it can turn a long-range tryo like me into someone who hits at 960 yards the first time, you know it works.

Quite disappointed with the Caracel carbine.
I wanted this one to be All That, but it's not. They're not going to make 30 round mags for it, and when I shot it left-handed, I'd nudge the safety on and lock up the gun. My quest for the ultimate sub-$1000 pistol carbine continues...

And I put a magazine through an AR-15 with a Slide Fire Stock because, well, BECAUSE!
The show floor itself opens tomorrow, and I plan on racing around the place like a banshee, trying to line up samples and make contacts for the rest of the year, but now it's time for dinner with
my friend Jay and then it's off to crash some industry parties.
