There was a time when the missus MADE me go shopping with her.  I HATE shopping!  She was trying on dresses at Kohl's and kept asking my opinion.  I was tired, hungry, and grumpy.  She came out and asked me 'Does this dress make my butt look big?'  Without missing a beat I said, ' Honey, the dress ain't got nothin' to do with it.' 

The down side?  The other women within hearing like to beat me to death.  Lots of cold shoulder for many, many weeks.

The upside?  I've never been shopping with her since.  Priceless
