NRA Convention in Indy
« on: February 15, 2014, 07:54:29 PM »
Who all is planning on attending the NRA Convention in Indianapolis this year? I plan on being there and volunteered to help out on the air gun range Friday and Saturday.

Tried to respond this morning with no luck.  I'll be there with the family in tow.

Indy is just a few hours away, so hope to be there with a few friends. Nice to get a chance to pick up all the new stuff before it trickles into the LGS's.

Trying to arrange an outing with several local gun guys.

If things go the way I think they will, I'll be going, and work will pay for it.
I can't understand people who think banning guns makes them safer. They must also believe that banning books makes them smarter.

I probably could ask off, as I work every weekend, but I have been to two NRA meetings, the one in Charlotte, NC in 2000, and the one in Louisville, KY a few years back.  They are a lot of fun.  Got to see Charlton Heston give a speech at Charlotte, something I will always remember.

I was just wondering this myself... Went to the one in Pittsburgh since it's just next door. Think I might make a 4 day weekend out of it.
