Back in the galaxy far, far, away that was my first marriage, I bought her a Model 60LS S&W .357 for about $500. (Now a little more)

It was the Ladysmith, 2.13 inch barrel 5 rounds, I used 110gr. Winchester .357 rounds. or .38+P JHP's.

Your right Lucas, the Dick Tracy snubbie has lost the "Limelight", but is still in production, and is about as reliable as summer heat.

I would have carried that pistol to this day but, (as I cry in my adult beverage),,, she kept it. :'(

Oh well, if it keeps her safe so be it. She'll be alive to torture,, er,  I mean enjoy the relationship with another guy. 8)

Good post, I'm gonna start looking at some catalogs,..Maybe a S&W Model 640 Centennial. Thanks,
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Even though I carry a variety of weapons ,I always seem to go back to the snubbie calling my name from the gun safe. ;)

I owned a 642 LS for a few years.  One of the best firearms I have ever owned!

ericire12 I own a 642 without the "Lady" on the side and without the lock and love it!  If someone is close enough to see it doesn't have "Lady" on the side they are TOO close!!!!!!!
