Another Pig down

Forgot to tell y'all.

My boy and I went huntin' Sunday.  I didn't get a shot but (of course) HazJr nailed one!

He went with the outfitter in a swamp buggy kind of thing (big sucker) and was riding around when a porker came shooting out of the brush about 20 yards in front of them and started heading out quartering away.  The kid jacks a round into his .44 PUMA and nails him first shot in the head! :o  And this was from a moving buggy!!

180 lbs on the ground!  Good eatin' ahead!  ;D

Yeah, the whole thing cost 175.00 (not counting fuel) fo 50 lbs of meat (trimmed and boned) but we had a GREAT time!  ;D

The NC mountain pigs are part Russian Boar (they claim) and are narrow at the shoulder, wide in the belly, covered with coarse black hair, curled tusks and very bad disposition. No, wait, that's what's her name, Democrat's ex- candidate? Anyway, one day I will get one of'em. Ruger Redhawk .44 mag.

Do you mean to tell me that  I lost sleep and sat up until after 2 in the morning.. listening to you blabbering about your hunt you were going on.. and I specifically told you to "Take Pictures".. of which you said "ohh yeah, I sure will"..  ::) ::)

And now you tell me you were off relaxing under a tree somewhere (most likely using your gun for a pillow)  while your son goes off and does the hunt...and makes the shot.. brings home meat for the table and YOU didn't even take a picture?

Next time I'll save my breath on asking for anything.. and just lay there and let you enjoy the sound of your voice...blabbing on and on and on and on..................   ::)
