McCain's VP
« on: June 11, 2008, 05:49:36 PM »
Some are suggesting that Herr Bloomberg could be McCain's VP choice.

I sure as #$$%^$ hope not.  There is no more sure way to lose the gun vote.

I think you got that one wrong. Bloomberg is on the list being vetted as Obama's VP not McCain according to what I have been reading.

I note that today the three person Obama vetting team is down to one in another scandal. No change, just politics as usual for the Democrats or the Republicrats.

With the economy the way it is his only choice may be Romney.

If this is true, all bets are off!

I do not expect McCain to be able to physically survive his first term, he looks sick, his pallor, everything about him screams end of the line medically. I may be wrong, I am only going off how he looks in photos and on TV.

Therefore his choice of VP is essential, and if it is a gun-grabber like Bloomberg, I will back freakin' Mickey Mouse before I vote for McCain.

I will not back that surrender monkey Barr, so that takes us 2A supporters back to the very point when Fred left the campaign - looking for someone to hold or noses and vote for.

As one of the guys in Easy Rider said, this used to be a hell of a country. What happened?    >:(  >:(  >:(

It will not be Bloomberg.  I have a better chance of being on the ticket than him!

My bets are on Romney, Crist, or Pawlenty.

I could get behind having Palin on the ticket.  She seems to a) actually have a brain and b) use it fairly regularly.

I saw an interview on Glenn Beck with her.  She definitely has her act together.

I don’t know if Palin is in the running anymore.  From what I have read about her I would like to see her on the ticket but her short time in an executive position gives pause.  She has been only governor of Alaska for two years and prior to that she was the Mayor of some town there.  While she has more executive management experience than Bro’O, it may not be enough.

Secondly, I don’t think she wants to move to DC.  When one thinks about that, no matter what the job may be; moving from Alaska to DC would be like going from eating apple pie to eating dry dog food.
