What a hoot and how scary what congress is demanding of us!! 
Ted Poe is always worth a listen.  For those of you who do not know Ted Poe, he is a former Houston Family Law Judge. He was hard on all offenders and sentenced young offenders to attend court sessions to learn about justice and see what could happen to them. He also made them do community service. He is a good man.

I read a news report last year, a report that quickly disappeared from the LSM (Lame Stream Media), commissioned by the DNC, in which they found that a $7-$17 BILLION per year revenue stream could be created by forcing this country to go green. The CFL is a prime example of this - hugely expensive (relatively speaking) to produce, and requiring new businesses to "recycle" the bulbs to prevent damage from mercury.

Did anyone else here play with mercury as a kid, pushing it around with your fingers, smashing it, and then not washing up before dinner unless forced to by an observant Mom? I did.

On the other hand, that may explain why I am bitter and cling to my guns and God.

I saw on NBC news, if they accidentally break they contain mercury, and in some states are "technically" required to go to the haz. section of the landfill.
