During the "extras" at the end of the show you turned to see what I assume was a bunch of noise behind you and it turned out to be a helicopter. Then you turned to the camera and said 'We have a .50, we can poke a hole in a helicopter.'

Yea, been busy! As you know building an off grid property is a colossal undertaking. Especially when it's below zero and the wind is blowing 100 MPH.

I'm so jealous of that part! Everything I have done has been working towards getting off the power grid. As of now it is the only umbilical I have left to the outside world. Every other necessity is contained on site. Hope to have the solar in this year with the back up generator (propane) to go in next summer.

BTW, something you never mentioned about this whole prepping thing. Self sufficiency is a TON of work!
