Sure, a great many historians have scoffed and derided Coolidge, but most conservative ideology is scoffed and derided.

So what if Silent Cal didn't have a lot to bluster about...too many then and today want the Executive Branch to say and do far too much.  Hell, Lou Dobbs suggested that Bush be impeached over the tomato salmonella outbreak.  Asinine, completely asinine!

As I choke on my garden tomatoes in regards to Dobb, (no salmonella, just homegrown) Lou Dobbs needs to be,.... nevermind decorum prohibits me from what he needs.

Thanks for the Coolidge quotes, history like 50 to 100 years from now, will have quite a different perspective than the Nancy Pelosi, or Obama view. Hell, my spell checker doesn't even recognize Barack either. ::)

The modern Democrat:  Partisanship is our foreign relations

And the Post-Wilson Democrats think socialism, communism, and Marxism make for good domestic policy.  Someone please tell me why Woodrow Wilson was such a "great" executive?  Was it his emulation of Old Europe or just his over enthusiasm for a one world government?  But...but doesn't popular culture tell us that it's the evil conservatives and those dastardly free market capitalists that want a new world order...?

Oh wait, didn't mean to go all tin foil hat, black helicopter in this post  ;)
