NSSF Shooting Sports Summit
« on: June 24, 2008, 03:52:44 PM »
I was looking forward to following the NSSF Summit live via the webcast on ESPN. It clearly looks from the presentation as hunting oriented. Also the times posted and topics seem to vary from page to page. Therefore I missed the one that MB participated in. I may be paranoid but do you think that was done on purpose?

Does anyone know if the webcasts are going to be archived somewhere?

I looked to see if there were any NSSF Summit threads on this forum or TheHighRoad before I posted, and came up dry. There is still supposed to be a couple of more webcasts tomorrow/Wednesday but be very conscious of the times. I would just go out to the ESPN website and leave it up on your computer. They seem to be off schedule on top of it all out in Colorado. Mike Huckabee is going to be giving the keynote speech tomorrow. Don't know if MB will have any further webcast coverage.

It just irritates me because this is EXACTLY the type of news I would expect the three Ms to post for us.  Give us a heads up on the inside skinny so we could watch some of those that supposedly speak for us to see what the mindset is.

We didn't know it either.

I just had a talk with Michael (he is recording the podcast right now) and we will bring you up to date with what's going on at the summit.

Thanks Marshal.  I didn't mean to fuss at ya but I would have liked to hear what was said.  The report sounded like it was all hunter oriented.  As y'all know I hunt (even if it is my son that 'brings home the bacon ;D ) but I also shoot and I spend a lot more as a shooter that a hunter.
