Thanks for the introduction to the .50 shooters.  I learned a few things.  For instance, I did not know previously the guns have mild recoil.  That's good to know.

As for the comments on the unfortunate term "gun violence," well said.  We have a long way to go before we grow up (as you say) and take ownership of the social problems that hurt us: Gang violence, spousal abuse, and the ugly drug culture are challenges that may be just too much for Americans to handle.  We are not going to let the politicians take us down with them though.  Stick to your guns.
