You can do it, M25.  As you say, shoot your game, not his.

Good Luck!

That sounds like so much fun. Wish I was there to root you on and take pictures. ( If I shot, I probably would come in last.. but hey. SOMEBODY has to be last...right?  no matter where I place in anything.. I still have a heck of a good time, as I am sure you are having.

Hey Ben (M-25), Whats wrong with the trijicon? Washing out mean? (remember newbie here) Good luck today. Also I am going to search the internet today and find out more about Cmore and Tasco I have no idea what all that is. LOL.

Anyway so are you really into revolvers? as in do you choose to carry one over an auto for ccw?  Maybe that sounds like a dumb blond question, but I have got this new infatuation with them. And I should already know things about you, but for some reason I am drawing a blank. Knowing what someone prefers for carry is like knowing what kinda person they are. It just goes hand in hand. I know you posted pics on here one time, I think, but maybe if you get the chance could you put up a pic of the revolver you are shooting with today. Man I am high maintance today I know.

But above all like I already said Good Luck and most importantly have fun and be safe.
Did we win???

Revolvers seem to be less prone to malfunction and while they have less capacity than a semi auto there are no mags to lose.
Kick butt M25  ;D

Thanks again crew, good match, high turnout, 65 shooters, My squad had 15 shooters, which at least 6 were newbies, and we like newbies ;D but newbies take extra care when being a range officer ( which I am ) and especially with steel targets, extra ammunition. Todays match was not a good newbie match, one stage with very small targets, I wish I had brought my camera, and some medium range shots, which most people don't shoot during routine practice. For those of you who don't shoot steel in competition, the main problem is an overwhelming DESIRE,  to see your hits on the steel, that is contradictory to the fundamentals of shooting, if you can see your hits, then it is impossible for you to be focusing on the front sight. Some optics will allow you to see your impact, but that means your waiting for verification before you go to the next target.

Long story short, arrived at 8:55am, started match at 9:30, steel match over at 4pm. long day, next .22rf carbine match, over at 6:45pm, not shooting in the dark, but putting up steel and target stands in the dark.  The .22 match director was so pooped, as was I , that we did not tabulate the scores, everyone just went home. Scores to come later.

I did get to meet a fellow DRTV member ;D, Shadowboxer, who heads the DFW action shooters etc.. club, which is very cool, it first is a social club that meets outside of the range, and then cuss and discuss matches or just venues they can meet and shoot at. Like minded people meeting and enjoying a common sport. I like it, He and his lady did well shooting their .22's in the steel match, until the screw came off the rear sight base >:(, which explained how well they were shooting, and suddenly went to sh_t. They had to leave early, not because of the failure.

How did I do? 7th overall, 1st in open revolver,  A step up from 9th overall last time, but still much improvement to be made.

In the .22 carbine match, I think maybe 1st, but could be 2nd or 3rd, don't know until the times are tabulated, I almost stayed and added the times up myself, but it was definitely MILLER time.

Thanks again DRTV crew and RANGERS.
