Red~~~ You wouldn't of had it any other way and you know it.. :) I have 2 grand kids.. ( a 3 yr old boy and a 9 yr old girl .both like to fish ..and they get great delight when they catch fish and I don't.. Memories grandma... you are making memories with them.. I bet you made a big deal out of the clam too didn't you...She probably got a hoot out of that. ;D  hahahaha

Hey guys, I'm from the East coast, but that looks kinda like a muscle to me instead of a clam...alwful brownish blackish and elongated. If I'm right...need to use different spices cooking it. ::)

Based on the young-un holding a small catfish, I'm gonna guess that's a fresh water clam Jay.

No good for eating unless you happen to be a river otter.  We used to dig em up and catch REAL food with them!
