Loved it M.  I'm old enough to have fond memories of all 3.  Even had A JLL 78 (That was the big size I think) with "Great Balls of Fire" on it.  Unfortunately it got broken.

That was great...i love to hear good piano playin'...... :D

Ray Charles' home town is just 30 miles from me and before he passed, he came home a lot to play benefits for the local state college. He could play the classical stuff as well as when he was bangin' out tunes like in the video.

I got another pleasant surprise once while at one of several Lynyrd Skynyrd concerts I've been to. Their piano player, Billy Powell, came out alone after the concert but before the 'encore' of 'Freebird'. He sat down at his grand piano and launched into a 15 minute performance that sounded unbelievable. I always knew he was a good pianist, but that performance gave me chills. Then as he was winding down, the rest of the band came on and Rossington launched right into his Freebird Intro on slide guitar.
Good stuff.

Rest in Peace, Billy.     :'(

I'm a big fan of John Rich. He was a supporter of McCain/Palin during their campaign trail. He has a new song out:

it is called Shuttin` Detroit Down and I think it is awesome.

To give you "old guys" something, I have to admit that I still love The Marshall Tucker Band with their timeless song "Can't You See"

Speaking of southern rock I have to mention the Allmand Brothers with their awesome song "Midnight Rider":

"...tractor-snow mobile type machine invented by Henry Ford"

This is a really neat video of a tractor-snow mobile type machine
invented by Henry Ford. Watch the whole thing.  It's a video copy of an
old film that doesn't have sound...but it's pretty neat.

Very neat....you might like this too.....

They were made by the Snowmobile Company in Ossipee, NH. They were sold to Ford Dealers who installed the snowmobile kit on Model T Fords. They cost about $400.00 about the same as the cost of the Model T.

My dog has red hot chilli pepper farts and he's lying right next to me. I think I could handle a diaper change. Could it really be much worse than that?
