Completely not related to guns but interesting.

Soviet Typhoon Class SSBN in Polyarnyy Inlet in Northern Russia, aka "The Red October"....the Russians built several but mothballed all but one because of the expense of maintenance and upkeep.  They are all now just rusting away in their slips, a vicitim of the end of an era....

26,000 tons surfaced and 48,000 tons submerged, 574 feet long with 74 ft hull.
