Rant for the day: I have been seeing more and more lately people saying, posting, spelling (whatever) "Merica". I refuse to reduce my countries name to a form of ebonics! It is America! As in These United States! If you are so lazy that you can't handle using an A, then piss off. It's not hip, it's not cool. It's disrespectful to the greatest nation the world has ever known, and still the "last best hope for man on earth."

Obviously my FB page has blown up this morning.  >:(

Most of the time I have seen is when it was meant as an insult by some jag-off foreigner or some snarky liberal.  Annoys me every time I have seen it so I am with you this.

Did you know this is "National Refugee awareness month ?
I have a shirt that shows the US and Mexico. Mexico is labeled "Yours", the US is labeled "Not Yours".
