Caracal, anyone... Buehler?

As I recall, our Leader MB talked about this striker fired pistol last year on the DRTV Pod cast. Anyone seen one in the states? One of the Marshall's or MB want to shake some trees and see if a US distributor can be found to help further my addiction... er collection. Yeah, that better!

Well, the gun is kinda ugly... just like a Glock.  The lovely lady handeling it in the link more than makes up for the asthetics of the pistol, however.  Now that's gun porn!     Maybe I just need to get out more.

According to Wikipedia (Yes, I know...not the most reliable source, but still...), the Caracal was designed by the same fella who designed the Steyr M9.

Is it me, or does the Caracal slide release look like a cheap plastic tab that's a part of the frame?

The one I handled was very much like a Steyr.  The grip would be vey nice for someone with small hands.
I don't recall any issue with the slide release. The pistol I handled was all black.  The first time was probably at that same booth in Abu Dubai, the second at the Officers club range.
