I've read various comments on the LCP and it's operation. I've not been able to live fire my new one yet, but here are a few observations I've made from some limited dry fire practice (snap caps).
1) Trigger pull is supposed to be around 8 lbs, but mine feels lighter. Maybe because it's very smooth, maybe because it's not really 8lbs.

2) I've read 'advise' about the trigger resetting and the gun being 'ready to go' after a short recovery after a shot. Be aware! The
first click you feel will allow you to pull the trigger again
but the hammer drops from the half-cocked position. I've absolutely no idea if this will make a 'bang' reliably or leave you open to the worst sound in the world, the dreaded 'click'. The
second click you feel is where the next trigger pull brings the hammer back to full cock and releases.
