I went to the doctor right after voting and my BP was down too. I didn't know what would happen but most of the guys I voted for did win. It was a good election year.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Don't start celebrating till they are sworn in and have shown their true colors.
The test will be if we are still happy with them this time NEXT year.
How many will stand for America and how many will "reach across the aisle".

I'm glad for most of the election results, but I'm not going to hold my breath on the R's to do the right thing.  I've (we've?) been disappointed before.  I only hope and pray they will do the right things!

I'm still pretty disgusted with the Colorado and Pennsylvania governor's race.  Two Bloomberg loving socialists won.

Wet blanket alert!!!!

We traded Harry Reid for Mitch McConnell. What exactly did we gain?

McConnell has, on multiple occasions expressed his outright hatred of the Tea Party. He has, and will continue to do everything in his power to crush their momentum within the Republican Party.

We changed a lot of seats in the House and Senate, but the leadership will remain the same. Therefore I see no change. Maybe all the bills on Reids desk may make it to the floor, but the Republican leadership in the Senate does not have the spine for stopping the Obama train wreck. They themselves are to heavily invested in most of the mess.

I predict that, for now, the Republican leadership will consolidate their power, and then do nothing meaningful with it. They will not allow the Freshmen into the committees, and will do their best to keep them locked in the closet for fear of being labeled "extreme". In the meantime BHO is going to floor it over the cliff with his pen and his phone. He has nothing to lose at this point, and we all know how much he cares about congress.

I really hope I'm wrong......... ::)

God grant that I may not be found wanting,
that I will not fail this sacred trust.

If the dumb ass Republicans play this the way I hope and pray they don't, they'll be slaughtered in 2016 across the board. These nit wits better start working together, or they'll all be booted in 2 years.

As I understand it, the party leadership gets elected as well. The Trey Gowdy's and Ted Cruz's "Get it" and will make life hell for McConnell.
Now is the time to start a purge of the party.
Time to go Rino hunting.
