gee I wonder why?

Because, after the Grand Jury sends word they have reached a verdict the Judge is notified, then the interested parties (those legally bound to the case) are notified, and time is given for all to assemble.  If I were the judge I would not set the time any earlier than 9:00AM Tuesday.  Why release this at night?

Well, he is still dead. Cop is cleared by forensics that match his statement. Dumbasses are still going wild and looting. Go figure.

from the reports I saw(which I am sure is not the whole story) the cop had his eye socket broken.  Last time I checked, that is serious bodily injury...  oh and this kid was a line backer 6'4" 280#

If I just had my eyesocket broken by some one like that, well.....

I really admire the people on the jury for having the courage to clear this Officer rather then think of their own safety. There may be threats and even attacks from those who disagree with the decision.

Did anyone watch the announcement of the verdict?  The prosecutor gave the details of the law concerning release of information on the Grand Jury - No names, no ages, no race, no details on votes except the final verdict.  However, a couple stupid reporters would not quit asking for the names of the jurors, their race, and a detailed account of how each juror voted.

Also, just for the fun of it, I watched this on CNN.  A couple of the talking heads ranted on and on and on that it was the prosecutor who came to this verdict and how he got it all wrong.  The so called experts on several news programs this morning are talking about how this will be heard again at least three more times through the state and federal levels until they get it right.  What ever happened to double jeopardy?  Then we top it all off by the grieving family who has made it clear that they will get their justice and compensation through the Civil Court.

As I listened to the account of the police call and actions that night I thought to what we teach in carry class.  The fact that once you use your weapon to defend yourself you will be labeled as the person who (insert whatever happened here).  Officer Wilson has lost his career, his privacy, much of his personal safety, and will always be labeled as the "Cop who shot an unarmed black youth."

What other group loots and destroys innocent businesses when they get worked up? There is no justification for this type of reaction and this is the first time I have approved of the Police having surplus military equipment.

The best way to deal with this ghetto trash would be with a couple belt fed machine guns.
The Constitution protects the right to "Peaceable assembly for redress of grievances", that does not include arson and a new X Box.
