« on: March 08, 2015, 07:02:08 AM »
Just in time for me to meet the Pols..
If you live in GA., could you, if you deem fit, OPPOSE this bag of feces, please?!!

It may already be "done deal", but it's not passed yet.
These folks likely will, though, if we can't prevail upon them.
This is EVIL, folks.. This has gotta be stopped, in practice, and most certainly from being codified...

(HELP, PLEASE!!)

I feel like I should be at an AA meeting...   ::)
I asked for some help!!
More than I could do for myself..
Thank you Dave!!
Tomorrow morning, my radio guy in AL should bring this one up and hammer on it pretty hard. He's got the most listened to local show in AL in his slot.
Maybe that will bleed over to GA. Nobody is talking about it here! That's for sure!
Some of you Red State guys want to hammer on Erickson till he brings it up on his radio show (3-5PM) in Atlanta?? I promise, it's for a good cause!!

I'd like to see the Supreme Court rule no knock warrants unconstitutional so every state would stop doing it. They keep raiding the wrong house, shooting innocent people, etc. It needs to stop.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

What he said!

I have railed against 'no knocks' for years.  There are very damn few, if any reasons for one (maybe hostage situation?).

If you MUST use one then all parties signing off on it (Judge, Police Chief / Sheriff) should be held PERSONALLY responsible for any 'oops' that occur!  That should make them damn rare and well thought out before they are used.

In metro Atlanta Area, we had one just over a year ago, where:

The suspect wasn't home.
They had no idea where he was.
They didn't know who was in the home.
They performed no surveillance on the home.
There was no urgent need to confront and arrest the perp at that time.

Turns out an innocent family was visiting from out of state.  Their ~2 year old child was sleeping in a playpen near the door.   Busting in the door, they tossed in a flash bang grenade that landed in the playpen.  No contraband was found.

Baby lived, but is scared for life.
The officers involved are mentally scared.
All resigned as LEOs.

Exactly and make it tough.

Any innocents killed, it's Murder One, Danno.  Injuries, just as harsh.  Reassignment or suspension is until jail time starts.

Here's one where they kicked in the door and killed the guy, and shot the guy twice when he was face down on the floor, in the shoulder and head..
http://www.13wmaz.com/story/news/local/dublin/2014/10/01/warrant-meth-raid-led-to-fatal-laurens-shooting/16538903/
The "tip" came from a KNOWN meth addict who got busted for driving the homeowners car (that he stole) and claimed that while he stole the car and didn't know anything about the drugs...
Well, THERE'S A GOOD REASON if I ever heard one!!!!
