Congrats on the Mech-Tech Les. I love mine except for the skinny little screw that holds the stock on. It looks like it would be easy to break but no problem so far. If it does break I'll JB Weld it back together or else use a bigger bolt and nut. I have a CCU for one of my Para Ordnance .45s. The boost in energy from the carbine barrel is probably around 1/3 more depending on the ammo. It likes +P as well as standard ammo and seems to eat whatever I feed it. I already had some 15 round mags and bought a couple of 20 round mags that I rebuilt with better springs and such that I haven't tried out yet. With the temps in the 60s I don't have an excuse not to go to the range anymore. Let us know how it works out for you.
